Nintendo 64 AND Sega Genesis Coming To Switch

The Nintendo Direct was held today and they had a few surprises the internet didn't have a chance to leak to us:

Nintendo Switch Online is getting a new membership tier for it's service. That's not all so no frets here. The new tier includes new content: Nintendo 64 games AND Sega Genesis games on the online service.

The Genesis games were completely unexpected and include: Ecco The Dolphin, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Phantasy IV and Ristar.

N64 games will, of course, have Mario 64, The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, Pokémon Snap and Mario Kart 64.

You will be able to play the Nintendo 64 games with multiplayer either locally or online. No more screen cheating!

Be prepared to burn the palms of your hands once again because Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis controllers will also be released for Switch Online members for 49.99 each. It's nice if you want to play the games with the control scheme they were originally designed for.

The new membership price increase has not been announced yet but one can assume it'll be a significant jump.

Retro games always have a way of making consoles more enjoyable and Nintendo really hit the mark here. This pretty much confirms that a Mini Nintendo 64 may be out of the question, but to take these games on the road and play them at anytime is worth it.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Equip And Use Your Glider

Are you wondering how to use your new Glider in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Have no fear as I am here to tell you exactly how to do it! If you happen to be blasting or skipping through menus in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you may be wondering how the heck to equip that shiny new surfboard glider you got. Well, all you have to do is go to your Wardrobe, scroll down to Gliders and select it! Easy as a hot dog! But how do you hop on this thing and use it? Well for that, first you MUST make sure your stamina bar is in the yellow. You do this by eating cooked meals that will take you above your maximum stamina bar. Once this is complete, just run for a few seconds until an icon appears in the bottom left side of the screen. Tap that button (For me, on Xbox, it's B) and PERFECTO! You'll be gliding in no time! Movie Backlog: The Fast And The Furious (2001)

I'm a bit ashamed of myself. And, to a point, somewhat proud. I have never watched any of the Fast and Furious movies other than 2 Fast 2 Furious for some reason. So I got sick over the weekend and decided to start watching the entire season to see what I have missed over the last 20 years. Here are some of my thoughts on the first movie into this adrenaline-filled, NOS-injected, action-packed love story. The Fast This movie starts out at a pretty fast pace. Quick racing, quick fights, all the machismo you can shake a stick at. We get to follow Brian O'Connor, played by the late Paul Walker. A blonde surfer type who is an undercover cop sent to investigate the infamous street racing gang leader, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel). This is because a bunch of truck's have been hijacked and good ole Dommy boy is the main suspect. We find out the Brian likes tuna sandwiches. Pretty dang cool I guess. A.K.I Slithers into Street Fighter 6!

The second Street Fighter 6 DLC character is here! A.K.I, a brand new character to the series arrived this week, just in time for Halloween. Her slithery, unsettling, poison wielding moves will be sure to not only creep out players, but also shake things up for the online warriors out there. She has a mix of mid and long range range moves, plus projectiles and specials that inflict poison on the opponent. Her moveset and specials take inspiration from F.A.N.G. Well... not surprising because she's an apprentice of F.A.N.G! Not only that, she's a little bit obsessed with him. Ok, maybe A LOT bit obsessed. Don’t worry though, she’s way cooler than F.A.N.G. Her design (I'm still 50/50 on the hair) and engaging move set make her way more appealing to use than her obsession. Street Fighter's YouTube page has a great breakdown of her gameplay.
