NBA 2K25 - The Review!

NBA 2K25 is HERE and while the virtual currency (VC) problem still rears its ugly head, it is clear that 2K is looking to make sure we all get back to the game that we love. Improvements all around bring together a great experience in the basketball world that are only slightly bogged down by not spending enough. I played well over 25 hours of NBA 2K25 and dove into the majority of each and every feature in the game. While some things feel the same such as Play Now, huge overhauls of MyCareer and MyTeam have breathed new life into the series. The City Life For Me One of my favorite revamps this year is with The City. Not only is the map a LOT smaller (a great thing) but it allows very easy access to courts, matchmaking, and storefronts. The coolest thing is that literally every building you see has a purpose. Whether you are wanting some new threads, or needing to defeat a boss in a streetball battle, they're all VERY close to eachother. No more walking to 7 minutes to your next de...

NBA 2K23 Has RUINED My Social Life - NBA 2K23 Review

I'm an RPG guy. What's great about that is I can continue games at my pace, pause when I need to, save and exit when I want and engage in wonderfully crafted stories. My Online Game Brings All The Boys To The Yard Enter: NBA 2K23. I now have FOMO on gaining an chance to improve my shot, play basketball on a freaking trampoline or shoot WAY back behind the arc for a 4 point score.  My friends play this game and at first we started as a "ah maybe a few days for the review" type go. But now. NOW. It is ON. We fully stink up the Rec games. We stink up theater games. We stink up every single court we touch. And we cannot get enough. Pay Me To Play Me NBA 2K23 is fun. Absolutely. The fun DOES come at a price though. For full transparency, I received the Michael Jordan Edition of the game (Thanks 2K!) to review. This came with 100,000 VC (2K's virtual currency) to spend on my character. I did such a thing. My character was overall 80. I thought I could be competitive. I...

WWE 2K22 REVIEW

A long time ago I was the biggest wrestling fan in the world. WWE's Attitude Era was booming. The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin graced my television and my young ears with expletives and new ways to get detention in school. Fast forwarding many years to the present, I have fallen off the wrestling train. Not for any reason other than I honestly just don't have the time. Shows are 3+ hours long every single week and the others are on Sundays.. I have video games to play, dang it. Oh and work. I guess. So I get my fix through YouTube videos and games like WWE 2K. Sure, I may not know some of the roster anymore but that's how I get to know them now and either cheer or jeer them depending on my experience within the game. You beat me in a triple threat match after I dominated you through the first half of the match? Prepare to get boos whenever you're on my screen! How DARE YOU?! The last few years, I have been playing the WWE 2K series through the good and, unfortunat...
