Palworld: Is It Pokemon Or Is It Ark?

Palworld has released and has come out swinging HARD. Knocking Fortnite off of the most played list, selling a gazillion copies and, stirring up controversies. That's right, I am sure you have heard the rumors of AI assets, Pokemon modeling theft, and overall a general sense of "This is definitely a knock off Nintendo game." But does that deter you? I see the numbers and it looks like the consensus is no. Palworld itself has sold over 8 MILLION copies of the game. Proving one of two things: People do not care about how a game is made, as long as it has hype, they will buy it. OR people have been sick of the recent releases of Pokemon and were looking to find something they can be content with. Actually, I think it's both of the above. Now, this is a game that has been branded as "Pokemon with guns" and I have played it and while it for sure has the undertones of the game, it feels so much different. To me, Palworld feels more like Ark with creatures that vag

Cyberpunk 2077's 2.0 Update is Huge

A few days ago, I re-installed Cyberpunk 2077 on my Playstation 5. I had not played the game for nearly a year at this point. I wanted to remember how it felt before the 2.0 update dropped. Well, now that 2.0 the comparison can be made, it feels like a totally different game. From skill point resets to cosmetics being actually cosmetic, Cyberpunk 2077 will now be back in my rotation! But don't just take my word for it. Check out the massive list update log below: Combat New Police System The NCPD will chase you when you commit a crime, whether on foot or in a vehicle. The types of units in pursuit and their behavior will depend on your NCPD Wanted Level. These chases can include various NCPD vehicles, roadblocks and MaxTac swooping in with AVs. The NCPD will now be present in the world, actively patrolling the streets of Night City. Officers working at crime scenes will now also engage in pursuits. You can now hear NCPD radio chatter through the radio. It’s now possible to quickhac

Hunt The Night REVIEW

Are you into supernatural type things? Vampires, beasts, or spooky cults? Hunt the Night on PC delivers these things to you in an exciting and immersive supernatural experience that will keep players hooked from start to finish. This 2D action-adventure game manages to capture the essence of classic side-scrolling platformers while infusing it with a fresh and captivating narrative. With its nostalgic art style, engaging gameplay mechanics, and challenging enemies, "Hunt the Night" offers a highly enjoyable experience for fans of action! One of my favorite features of "Hunt the Night" is its pixel art visuals. The awesomely crafted environments are rich in detail, with vibrant colors that bring the game world to life. Each area is distinct and visually appealing, adding to the overall feeling of being in the world you're playing in! Whenever a game can grab my attention with pixels or sprites, I'm usually more keen on giving it more time just for that alone.

Dead Island 2 Review - More Of The Same?

Dead Island 2, the HIGHLY anticipated sequel to the popular open-world zombie survival game series, has finally arrived. I was one of the few who actually liked the first game. So naturally, I couldn't wait to dive into zombie-infested California.. However, after spending several hours (about 10-15 at the time of this writing) with the game, I have mixed feelings about it. So hey. A positive. The graphics and overall visual design of Dead Island 2 are impressive. This game looks AWESOME. I have been playing on PS5 and have said "whoa" many times thus far. Great character models, creepy skin-tearing effects, and lush landscapes, the visuals are great. Detail is in almost every place you look. From hitting enemies in specific spots and watching that area degrade or rip off is stunning to watch. Of course, since it is detail oriented, you will notice things that are repeated throughout the game. There is a certain DVD series and photos in frames that pop up in many houses. T

Retrospective: Borderlands

After completing Tiny Tina's Wonderlands on the Playstation 5, I have decided to go back to where my love for the looter shooter began: Borderlands. Booting up the Game Of The Year remastered edition was an instant blast of nostalgia. Even with the updated graphics and faster loading times, I could not help but think of the first time I played this game. I was living in my first apartment. Sort of rundown and sketchy but that didn't matter. All that mattered was my mind being focused on Borderlands. From it's silly little robot barking commands at me while I pew pew away at vulgar mouthed bandits, or the fact that this cel shading was so interesting and fresh from what I have been playing at the time. Borderlands is STILL great. Easily. Sure, it may feel a little flighty compared to later entries like 3 and Wonderlands but it still remains a fantastic shooter. Gunplay is such an experience since the millions of random gun combinations completely change your playstyle ever

Overwatch 2 is a hot mess at the moment

I've got you in my sights.... But I cannot play you. Overwatch 2 has been a game I have been excited to play. Not because its new or refreshed or for any other reason. I like Overwatch. That is it. Overwatch is a fun game that has been one I go to play and relieve stress for years now. That has since changed. The upgrade to Overwatch 2 has not been smooth. That is saying it nicely. From millions of players not even able to access the game on launch and even 3 days after. Once people did get in, a lot of their merge content from the first Overwatch  was missing. THEN once the content has returned, Blizzard somehow managed to lock half of the characters from a majority of the players. Even at the time of this writing I got kicked out of a ranked match and placed in a never ending queue of log in errors. I get that launch days ever since 2010 have been absolutely horrendous but it is still very frustrating to even get remotely excited about video game releases in this day.  As mentio

Dragon Ball Z + Fortnite CONFIRMED

MultiVersus has fulfilled my Smash Burnout

Let's get one thing straight: MultiVersus is not Smash. It is CLEARLY inspired by it in a wave of games doing the same (Nickelodeon All Star Brawl being one of the most recent). While a lot of these wanna-bes fail short, MultiVersus pushes way ahead of the rest and shows it has what it takes to be a legit competitor to Nintendo's Ultimate fighter mash-up. What separates MultiVersus from everything else is the strategy. Cooldowns on attacks so you can't repeatedly spam certain moves over and over again (while you can, you get Attack Decay on attacks that make sure your repeated attacks do less damage), Wall jumping instead of ledge grappling (taken from Brawlhalla) and dodging becoming such a powerful tool in the absence of a block button. Perks are added specifically for each character/type. So Iron Giant doesn't feel the same as Shaggy You can also argue that WB may also have more of a recognizable roster than anyone else presenting this type of game (look, I love the

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Worldwide Reveal

It's that time of year again. Call Of Duty is ramping up its reveal season leading into the release of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The follow up to 2019's (pretty well received) Modern Warfare reboot is on the way with a release date of October 28th. This year, Call Of Duty seems to have upped their game by adding a more explosive campaign and seemingly a focus on team work. Will this mean a Co-Op campaign?? Check out the worldwide reveal here:

Do We Need A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim?

Short answer: No. Do we want it? Apparently, yes! Twitter seems to be excited about "finally adding sex to Dead By Daylight" I have no problem with developers taking their current characters/lore and having their communities explore them in different ways. I think it is great! Do I initially raise my eyebrow like The Rock giving an interview on old WWE programming? Absolutely.  So what the hell am I writing about? Well, Dead By Daylight is becoming a Dating Sim. Yeah. I said that sentence and I meant it. Behaviour is launching "Hooked On You: A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim" this summer on Steam. Taking place on "Murderer's Island" you can romance of become friends with some of the original Killer characters from the DBD universe. The description as stated on it's website,  HERE , is as follows: "Your companions: four dead-sexy Killers who, underneath their murderous exteriors, just want a little romance. Flirt your way into their hearts, uncove

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga REVIEW

LEGO games are rad. Rad. Absolutely rad. Not only are they really family friendly, but they've always been pretty dang hilarious to us "grown ups" as well. So what do you get when you combine all 9 Skywalker Star Wars films into one huge game? LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. We'll start this review with a short opinion and then we will dive into the technical stuff. First, I love the game. If you have kids at home or are looking to relax and smash up any object in your path, you can never go wrong with the LEGO games. This one, however, feels different. An RPG-type system to level up, open world hub missions, and quirky but pretty darn good voice acting. It's my go-to right now for destress. I personally believe this is the best LEGO game ever assembled and I have no idea how it can be topped. REVIEW TIME! GRAPHICS  Let's start with your eyeballs. LEGO Star Wars (we'll keep it at this name for the sake of length) is a joy to look at. I have played a
