Don't Revive Your Friends

Here we go. I haven't been this hyped for a game after a demo in literal decades. The last time had to be when Metal Gear Solid was on a Playstation demo disc. (Remember demo discs? Those were AWESOME).  The Final Fantasy XVI demo starts us off in the prologue of the game and gives us a whopping TWO HOURS of content to play. We get introduced to Clive, the protagonist, and his group of allies viewing a large-scale battle from afar. Each side is determining the best time to use their ultimate weapons, dominants, to unleash. Dominants are not to be messed with. They're essentially the summons from past Final Fantasy games and boy do they have the ability to turn the tide of a battle. We get to see a giant Titan squish enemy soldiers in its path as it gears up to fight Shiva. CHAOS ensues. We are then sent back 13 years to meet Clive's family and some friends and see how exactly this war has started. It. Is. EXCITING. The demo lets us mess around with the combat and get a feel

Short answer: No. Do we want it? Apparently, yes! Twitter seems to be excited about "finally adding sex to Dead By Daylight" I have no problem with developers taking their current characters/lore and having their communities explore them in different ways. I think it is great! Do I initially raise my eyebrow like The Rock giving an interview on old WWE programming? Absolutely.  So what the hell am I writing about? Well, Dead By Daylight is becoming a Dating Sim. Yeah. I said that sentence and I meant it. Behaviour is launching "Hooked On You: A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim" this summer on Steam. Taking place on "Murderer's Island" you can romance of become friends with some of the original Killer characters from the DBD universe.  IGN has picked up the scoop on a new Saints Row reboot gameplay video. While the original Saints Row games had over the top humor, gameplay and..well..everything, the reboot looks to take more modern and serious approach (the developers and producers Volition and Depp Silver have assured everyone that the game will be FUN) to the series landscape.
