Are We Still Excited For New Switch Games?

The Nintendo Switch has been a phenomenal console in its run. An absolute success for Nintendo financially and for gamers, we got a (mostly) full console experience on the go! Mario Odyssey on the train? Check. Skyrim on the toilet? Double check. Being able to play Breath of the Wild and the vast amount of Pokémon games anywhere and at any time has been an awesome time over the last 7 or so years and more people than ever have been able to play cool video games. In its later years, though, we've started to see a decline in what the console itself can actually do. Tears of the Kingdom pushed the Switch to its limits and while it is extremely impressive, it is hard not to think of what the game could look and feel like on better hardware. Super Mario RPG, Thousand Year Door, Kirby and the Forgotten Land and plenty others are examples of how awesome it can actually be. A lot of ports that come to the Switch often fail in comparison to their heavy duty counterparts (looking at you Mort

Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remastered FINALLY Has A Release Date

Good news, JRPG fans! Long after its initial announcement and a year after its delay, Suikoden 1 and 2 FINALLY has a release date. March 6, 2025. This has been a game I have been waiting for for WAY too long. After the delay when the game was supposed to be released in 2023, there was little hope in the RPG community that this game would ever be released. But here we are. Announced in the Partner showcase portion of the Nintendo Direct on August 27th, we get the, hopefully, final release date.

Borderlands 4 Announcement!

Borderlands 4 was confirmed and announced at Gamescom today for a 2025 release. I know it may be hard to get the taste of the movie that just opened out of your mouth but that should not reflect the games. Borderlands has been a consistent and fantastic experience since the original game's release back in 2009.  While no gameplay was shown off at Gamescom, the teaser trailer dropped and you can take a look at it here: Needless to say, I cannot wait for 2025 when we can get our hands on Borderlands 4!

The Casting Of Frank Stone, A Dead By Daylight Story Game, Gets A Release Date

Holy moly. I am excited about this one. Announced by Behaviour Interactive in 2023, The Casting Of Frank Stone is a narrative-based game set in the Dead By Daylight universe. The story is about a group of friends who are trying to make a horror film but accidentally end up in a real life situation of their own. Like other narrative-based games, you'll get to see multiple character's stories and make decisions which will more than likely end up getting your friends murdered. Oh boy. Get ready Dead By Daylight and horror fans as we finally got a release date for The Casting of Frank Stone which is September 3, 2024.
