In a world of remastered classics, one that I have weirdly wanted for some time now has been the Lunar series. Well, I must have gotten ahold of some magic wishes or something because during the Sony State Of Play today, Lunar Remastered Collection was announced. One of my first ever collector's editions of a game was for Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. I used to listen to the soundtrack and watch the voiceover outtakes ALL the time so I am pretty excited for this one! Lunar Remastered Collection will have some new features for modern day like widescreen support, enhanced pixel art, HD animated cutscenes, and all-new English voice acting. You will also have the ability to speed up the battles which seems to be a standard for remastering some of the older turn-based RPGs.  Enjoy the trailer below! Franchise mode is the greatest thing since sliced bread 🍞 It doesn't matter which sports game it is, I can sink countless hours into franchise mode. I love crafting blockbuster trades, signing free agents in the offseason, and drafting fake rookies. There is something alluring about taking over all these operations of the club, and bringing home the championship trophy.  Luckily for me, I can do all this in NBA 2K25, as it has the most fleshed-out franchise modes in all current sports games. The level of customization is insane. If I really wanted to, I could move the Oklahoma City Thunder back to Seattle, make their jerseys pink, and insert myself as the head coach. If I wasn't feelin' the 2024-25 season, 2K also give us the ability to start a franchise with a team from the past from certain eras. Looking for a good way to cozy up and let a bunch of demons loose in your household? Have no fear (or do because some of these are creepy) as Don't Revive Your Friends has some recommendations to up the scare factor in your life. 1. Outlast Outlast relies on the limitations of batteries to really get your heart racing. There is no real combat in this game but plenty of jumpscares and creatures to have you running through the halls of this prison all the while trying to report and solve a mystery of "What the hell is going on here?" It's definitely creepy and has made me pause a few times to keep my panic attack at bay. 2. Resident Evil 7 I know there are newer Resident Evil games out there. Remakes and Village, but there is something absolutely so terrifying about 7. The whole family concept of killers reminds me of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies. The whole vibe here will certainly give you the creeps and have your heart racing throughout the story. 3. Little Nigh

Over the weekend, Amazon Games let us enjoy the open beta for New World: Aeternum. Over this same weekend, I have discovered that this is exactly the type of MMO I have been looking for on consoles. With already established titles such as Elder Scrolls Online and Black Desert, both of which are great in their own ways, I still felt something was missing. I am not sure why, but New World reminds me much of my first time playing World Of Warcraft way back in 2004. I'm old, okay?
